Many of you have been the victim of phone solicitations by an organization similar in name that uses fundraising practices that many people have found misleading, intrusive, and often unscrupulous. The Cash Memorial does not use telemarketing to fundraise. We do not outsource our fundraising to a call center. The Cash Memorial Fund does not release the names, phone numbers and addresses of its contributors to other commercial or non-profit organizations. The Cash Memorial honors the Donor Bill of Rights, created by leading fundraising professional societies, and widely accepted as best practices for any nonprofit organization that must fundraise to meet its mission.
The Cash Memorial Fund is a 501(c)(3) corporation and recognized as a public charity by the Internal Revenue Service. All donations are tax deductible under Section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code. Please consult your tax professional for details on the eligibility of your donation for a tax deduction.
